What’s a Marketing Mix?

  • Marketing is the process of satisfying customers’ needs and making a profit from it
  • The Marketing Mix is a selection of factors that help the business consider the needs of customers whilst they’re trying to sell a product
  • Marketing mixes are different for each industry, but consist of the things listed below:
  • It’s the four Ps! Product, Price, Place and Promotion!
  • Here they are again:

How does a business meet the customers’ needs?

  • Sell them good products (the products they want)
  • Charge a reasonable price (that they are willing to pay)
  • Make the product/service available in a good place
  • Promote the product/service to make people aware of it
